Parth Naik

Parth Naik is a PhD student at the Department of Sustainable Agro-Ecosystems and Bioresources, Research and Innovation Center of the Fondazione Edmund Mach.
He received his Bachelor's degree (2015 batch) in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad, India. He did his Master's in Technology (2018 batch) in Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems from the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing, an academic unit of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO).
He is currently working on a collaborative project with the Remote sensing laboratory of the University of Trento based on Air and Space borne remote sensing for forest biophysical parameter monitoring. His research interests involve Machine learning and Deep learning applications in remote sensing, Multi-sensor and Multi-temporal data processing, Forest parameter characterization.
PhD project: Multi-sensor and Multi-Temporal remote sensing data methods for forest bio-physical parameter estimation.
