UniversitĂ degli Studi di Trento (C3A)
My name is Marta Crivellaro, I graduated in Padova in Environmental Engineering.
I am currently a PhD student at C3A, Centre Agriculture Food Environment, FEM and University of Trento research center. My research topic focus in hydro-morphodynamics and related ecosystem services of near natural river corridors and their value in the Anthropocene.
I combine remote sensing and fieldwork activity for biophysical assessment, as well as socio-economic methodologies to assess river corridors as socio-ecological systems.
I conduct part of my research in the Vjosa basin (AL), one of the last free flowing rivers of Europe, in the framework of an international cooperation project led by VIS, CELIM and CESVI. The aim of the project is to contribute to the sustainable development of the Albanian natural capital, by strengthening the capacity of local institutions in the management of natural protected areas.
