I come from Lebanon. Specifically, from the Bekaa valley, a region known for its wine and Arak, food and hospitality.

I completed a double master’s degree in Mediterranean Organic Agriculture and acquired a joint diploma from The Lebanese University and Ciheam Bari, with the following thesis title "A Study on the Parasitoids of Halyomorpha halys for the Development of Biological Control Strategies".

Moreover, my interests include producing high quality food using sustainable ways to do so. Additionally, my current thesis title is "Applied chemical ecology and biotremology to enhance insect parasitoids' efficacy in the biological control of the Brown Marmorated Stinkbug, Halyomorpha halys (HH)" where the focus will be on conducting experiments covering the vibrational (and other forms of) communications between our insects. The duration of my Phd project is of three years (November 2019-October 2022).
