Davide Andreatta
Università degli Studi di Padova
My name is Davide Andreatta and I come from Italy. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Conservation and Sustainable Development of Mountain Areas at the University of Milano and then I graduated from the master of Forest Science at the University of Padova.
During my studies, I became passionate about ecology, biodiversity conservation, mountain agroecosystems, ecological restoration.
In the past years, I had the opportunity to deepen these topics working as a botanist at the Museum of Science of Trento (MUSE), during a research period at the University of Padova and working as a professional.
Since October 2020 I am a Ph.D. candidate in Crop Science at the Department of Agronomy, Food, Natural resources, Animals and Environment (DAFNAE) of the University of Padova.
My Ph.D project will focus on restoration ecology and climate change: using both remote sensing and field analyses we will assess temporal and spatial variability of phenology and vegetation cover.
PhD project: Time pattern of historical and recently restored grasslands in mountain environments: integrated approach of remote sensing and field analyses for the assessment of temporal and spatial variability of phenology and vegetation cover.
FEM supervisor: Dr. Damiano Gianelle.
